Reasons that Japan Involved the United States in World War II

Number of pages: 15

ABSTRACT:
This 15 page report discusses the idea that Japan and the United States were already engaged in something of a “war” or, at the very least, an “economic battle” preceding the actual bombing of Pearl harbor on December 7, 1941. As the war progressed, decisive battles such as those at Leyte Gulf and Guadalcanal served to demonstrate the ways in which the ultimate economic, political, and social objectives of the Japanese in World War II would not be met. Bibliography lists 11 sources.
